We’ve outlined below a detailed breakdown of the services we offer in each of the three phases listed above:
Phase 1 – Advising and Consulting on New Media Strategy:
- Identify all current channels of communication that exist, between company/individual and target audience, and suggest New Media alternatives that could reduce time, increase efficiency, and improve visibility.
- Identify suitable bloggers, based on relevant content, following, and size of community.
- Identify appropriate Twitterers to engage with, based on a number of different metrics, and the frequency with which they talk about our subjects of interest.
- Identify appropriate Yahoo Groups, that discuss pertinent topics, and contain a targetted audience.
- Identify appropriate Google Groups, that would be relevant to interact with.
- Identify appropriate social networks, or online communities that would also engage with relevant topics or subjects.
- Identify relevant organisations, nationally and/or internationally that publish blogs, electronic journals, have group websites, or online social networks.
- Identify relevant academics to engage in discussion with dependent on the topic/themes being discussed.
- Review of all your profiles in online social networks, and create a focussed targetted campaign voice.
Phase 2 – Executing Awareness Building Campaigns:
- Measure existing online presence of organisation/individidual/brand.
- Establish measurable targets and desirable outcomes for campaign.
- Create appropriate and relevant blog content, during the course of the campaign, to encourage dialogue, and discussion.
- Increase awareness of brand/identity, and help create inbound links to main website, through posting links, and comments.
- Create videos and podcasts to be distributed through appropriate channels.
- Write timely, relevant, and interesting comments on Twitter.
- Measure each week the progress that has been accomplished, and compare, with previous weeks results, based on activity, and response. Adjust targets, or program accordingly (dependent on Budget)
- Identify appropriate discussions on Twitter, and engage with them.
Phase 3 – Coaching, and Training, to help learn to use the tools of New Media.

- Training on best practices when using twitter.
- Etiquette when it comes to online discussions on forums, blogs and twitter.
- Personal coaching, with weekly check-ins and consistent feedback, on whether it’s being done correctly, along with suggestions for improvements.
